Aquarelle Painting                                

A workshop for everybody… the beginner and those looking for new techniques or inspiration.

This course will be there for all of you.

You will learn about :

• Background
• Use of colors
• Composition
• Perspective
• Use of material

You can work in Aquarelle (watercolor), with mixed techniques, in a illustrative or abstract way. Still life or landscapes, impressions or events… you can paint them with your brush, watercolor paint and paper. We can work in the studio and also outdoors when the weather is nice.

Theory will be given to the whole group, and painting done individually. The landscape around the Center is beautiful… lovely green hillsides and valleys and authentic villages. A lot of nature and above all peace and quietness. This will surely give you inspiration. Discover your own creativity. Materials are included the workshop.

You can choose between:

• An afternoon workshop from 2pm – 5pm, 35 euro p.p. materials included.
• Or a 1 day workshop from 10am – 12am in the morning, followed by lunch, and in the afternoon from 2pm – 5pm.  Price € 70,-  p.p., lunch and materials included.

From 1 to 6 persons. Workshops made by appointment the whole year round.

Agnès van Gaalen

Agnes van Gaalen is Dutch and attended Art School at a place called Den Bosch in Holland. She traveled a lot, then 15 years ago she settled down in France.

For the last few years she made Aquarelle paintings in the so called technique, “Wash and Line.”

Some of her teachers were: Jan Asselbergs in Holland and Bill Parkes in New Zealand. Since 2006 she and her husband Bas are occupied with the project Table-Tableau in Mougny.

Here they created a meeting point for people who love art, and the ones who love life – or in the French language, “Joie de Vivre.” This can of course be expressed in the medium of painting.
